Trutex are a schoolwear supplier with over 150 years of experience in the industry. This wealth of experience has led to brilliant innovations in schoolwear, such as stain resistant coatings and non-iron shirts to make laundry easier and less time-consuming for parents and elasticated collars and cuffs for younger children, to ensure shirt buttons are easier to manage. Trutex products are also high quality and long-lasting, with no fading, bobbling or going out of shape - meaning there’s no need to repurchase until your child has grown.

Based in Clitheroe, Trutex is a big employer in the local area, boosting the local economy, only 5 minutes away from our store in Clitheroe.

Trutex partner with the Diana Award, a charity legacy to Princess Diana’s belief that young people have the power to change the world. The Diana Award aims to empower young people to tackle bullying within schools & communities, making them a safe, happy, bully-free place to be.

As the 1st carbon-neutral schoolwear company in the UK, Trutex were finalists for the Sustainability in Schoolwear Award 2019 at the Schoolwear Association Awards. This is due to their production of RE-VIVE recycled fabric blazers, trousers and skirts, made from 100% post-consumer waste. Trutex are also partnered with Giving World, which redirects end-of-line and discontinued stock to communities within the UK and around the world, reducing the amount of clothing in landfill, and providing schoolwear to vulnerable communities that would otherwise be unable to afford it.
